About Amy Cimetta
With a customer-centric approach to business, Amy Cimetta measures her success by her clients’ satisfaction. “It’s about putting my customers first. I get a clear understanding of their goals and then I set a plan in action to achieve them. It’s about communication. I keep them updated on the market, the competition, negotiation tactics, pricing strategies, and buyer and seller psychology. It’s about feedback. I ask for input and reactions, ensuring that I am meeting my clients’ needs. It’s about empathy. If I truly understand my clients’ perspective, I can better represent their interests. It’s about a work ethic. Ultimately, I am committed to exceeding my clients’ expectations.”
Amy’s family background in real estate taught her to appreciate the value of owning property. “My grandfather bought hotels and office buildings. My father even grew up living in one of the hotels! My parents continued the tradition. They purchased fixers that they renovated to rent out and eventually sell. They applied the same concept to the homes we lived in. They found good deals, and improved on them to build equity and future value.”
In an effort to maintain the highest level of service, Amy is committed to continuing education. She has her MBA in Marketing, multiple Real Estate designations, and she regularly attends seminars and classes to keep up on the latest market trends and technologies. Her background in sales and account management has fine tuned her negotiating and customer service skills.
It’s the combination of all these elements that enables Amy to skillfully handle each real estate transaction. “Buying or selling a home is a huge financial and emotional endeavor. I’m honored to work with people during one of the most important events of their lives. I can't imagine doing anything else; I love what I do."

AMY’S THE BEST!
I have bought and sold many houses and Amy is the best agent I’ve ever had. She is knowledgeable, pleasant and diligent. Her attention to detail is superb.
I am a commercial real estate attorney and I’ve negotiated and sold hundreds of millions of dollars in commercial real estate. Realizing that the residential market is different, I held myself back and let Amy do her job. I was impressed!
Amy accommodated every one of my requests. She walked me through comparable houses on the market before we set the listing price on my rental house. She helped me pick out paint, carpet and stain for the wood floors.
In a depressed market, Amy’s strategy to set up a bidding competition among buyers seemed optimistic. However, we sold the house in three days at $15,000 above asking price with four back-up offers also above asking price. I studied the comparable prices carefully before setting the purchase price and I don’t think the original price was too low. In fact, I was worried that an appraisal wouldn’t support the buyer’s offer price. Amy’s presentation of my house and her negotiation with other agents resulted in buyers raising their offers and competing for the house. She worked carefully with the appraiser to justify the contract price and I was pleasantly surprised when she succeeded. I couldn’t have done a better job.
Amy was superb on follow-up. She dogged the title company to write around a title exception. When we had regulatory problems tenting the house, she made numerous calls to the termite company, the gas company and others to find the best course of action. She stayed in constant contact with the buyer’s lender so we weren’t surprised by any hiccups during a closing of less than 30 days.
Many agents will tell you what you want to hear just to get the listing. Amy is not one of those. She is straight forward, honest and reliable. Pick her and you’ll be happy you did!
Our recent home purchase was fairly complicated and required extreme attention to detail. Amy went far above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. We never felt like Amy was just trying to hurry us through a transaction. She treated us like we had been friends who had known each other for years. We are very pleased with our new home and recommend Amy to anyone looking to buy or sell a home in the area. Amy is exceptional.
Amy Cimetta is THE BEST around... Hands Down! Not only does she put in work for her clients, she builds a relationship with them and gets to know their wants, needs, likes and dislikes. She is very personable and knowledgeable. Being that this was my first purchase, I found the process to be extremely tedious and time consuming. Amy went above and beyond the call of duty for us. Without her, I do not know that we would have made it all the through the process. I could not have asked for a better agent. Any questions, concerns, doubts, etc., we may have had, Amy always had an answer, resolution and/or an honest answer/opinion. If at any time we became frustrated, Amy was right there to listen, advise and "talk us off the ledge." There was never a point where I felt as if she attempted to just "sell us a house." With every property we looked at (and there were plenty), we never felt as if she was attempting to just put us in a house for the "sell." Amy wanted us to be sure we Loved the house and due to the relationship we were able to build with her, she could at times determine if we really loved a house or were "trying" to love it. She went above and beyond to ensure the process went as smoothly as possibly. When we ran into any "hiccups" they most definitely were not on Amy's behalf and she made sure to smooth them out in an expedient and professional manner. We look forward to getting fully settled in our new home and having Amy over for dinner. After all of her hard work, that is the Least we can do for her. Should we ever find ourselves wanting to sell our house and/or buy another, there is no doubt as to who our agent will be... AMY CIMETTA! THANK YOU SO MUCH, AMY!
At the end of 2011, it became clear to me that my first house was no longer a sound financial investment. This was distressing news made much easier with the help of Amy Cimetta who remained a bright light through this ordeal.
Throughout the entire process, from learning about the differences between short sale and foreclosure to the closing, Amy was prepared, informed and responsive. Amy's intelligence and social skills were obvious assets. Amy was gracious and prompt in all of her communications, both with me and with lenders, buyers and workers. She defines professionalism.
If you're looking to work with someone who is extremely able, intelligent, dependable and compassionate, hire Amy. Through months of negotiations, she kept me informed and served as a wonderful advocate. It gave me tremendous peace of mind to have her on my side. I would work with her again in a heartbeat.
This was the first time that I purchased a house, and to say the experience can be overwhelming at times is an understatement. However, Amy made the whole process so easy to understand and helped me in so many ways. She was always available to answer my questions, no matter what the day or time of day. The thing that really impressed me the most was how she truly cared about me and my family, and all our needs. Looking back, I don't think I could have done it without her. If I ever sell my house, there is absolutely no question Amy will be my agent.
I wanted to let those at RE/MAX Execs know what a pleasure it was to have Amy Cimetta represent us in the selling of our home on Plant Avenue in Redondo Beach. I have never written a testimonial before, but in this case it is so well deserved that I wanted Amy to be recognized for her outstanding service. I was a partial owner of a jointly owned property that we bought during the end of the hot real estate market of 2004. After a large investment of time and money into renovations, we had experienced the universal decline of real estate in our area. This left us with an interest-only loan that was due to reset to a very high and adjustable interest rate, and the unfortunate situation where refinancing was not an option due to our declining home value, lack of cash and tighter lending standards. We truly felt that we were out of options until we began working with Amy.
Not only is Amy an astute real estate agent, her real value is in her interpersonal skills and true desire to help her clients. Other agents were trying to tell us that our home was worth unrealistic values so that we would simply sign a contract and discover the disappointment of the situation once we were obligated to continue to work with them. With Amy, she spent the time upfront to give us her honest, true assessment without the high pressure sales pitch employed by other agents. We went over the financial situation together in detail, and were able to put together a plan that made financial sense to all of us. Amy was truly willing to help us with anything or answer any questions we had, and did not ever make me feel that I was “calling at a bad time”. She always had the time to listen, and even helped us with staging our home, lending us some home furnishings as well! Truly she went above and beyond our greatest expectations, and her preparation and hard work were realized when we had a buyer interested in putting in an offer during our broker’s open house, before we had even officially made it available to the public! Our house was in escrow so quickly that I had not even made plans for where I was moving to yet. As a home seller knows, it is incredibly arduous and stressful to keep your home in tip top shape for an extended period of time, so the quick sale was nothing short of a blessing.
Thank you, Amy for your outstanding service. I know that we could not have done this without you!
Please forgive our delay in not writing to you sooner to tell you how much you have meant to our family. You’ve played such an integral part in our family getting into our first home. We’ve been so very busy over the last few months in putting the finishing touches to our new home and we’ll probably never be completely finished. Our search for a home in the San Pedro area started at least two years ago with you and from the beginning you’ve been so dedicated, professional and driven in finding us exactly what we were looking for in a home. We’d used a few Realtors over the years that were not even close to your caliber of professionalism or possessed your commitment in follow through with listing agents or banks.
Even though we really had a strong connection with this house, you still made yourself available to show us other houses that came up on the market [during the short sale process]. You continually followed up with all persons involved in the sale and when you were unsure of how the VA financing/process worked you would research it and found out on your own. We’ve now made this house or home; our children have chosen their colors, painted their individual rooms and infused them with their own character and now feel very comfortable and connected to the home. My wife and I also have been adding our own accents and now we feel it’s a more accurate expression of both of us.
We truly wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for all the time and effort you had put into finding us our home and in the process becoming a really good friend to us as well. Please let us know if there ever is anything we can do for you.
It was great putting a deal together with you. You were on top of everything and it was really inspiring watching you work. I hope to do many deals with you in the future. You are an awesome agent!! Hope to see you again soon. Thanks again.
How are you? It almost doesn't feel normal to not see you every other day. Well, I have to tell you thank you so much for all your patience, searching and hard work with our small budget. You found us a gem. I love the house and as you know me I change my mind every two weeks. The house is wonderful I wake up every day feeling blessed… What a way to begin a new chapter with my husband. I hope all is well.
Thank you so much for the house! I really like it! The house is really great! But guess what? I broke my foot because of the backyard. But it will remain as a memory. Do you know how I broke it? I was going to go out and on the stairs there was a badminton racket then I slipped on the stairs, and broke it. See you!
P.S. Come back to visit us!
I had the pleasure of working with Amy Cimetta for approximately four years while I was head of corporate communications for the Hollywood talent agency International Creative Management. Amy acted as my liaison between the agency and one of the chief publications covering the industry, Variety. From our very first encounter to the day when she told me she was leaving the business, Amy was never anything less than uniquely insightful, disarmingly helpful and consummately professional. I grew to see her more as a partner who had an uncanny ability to anticipate my needs and the needs of my company. She had a grasp of the big picture that made my job not only easier but more enjoyable.
My sincerest apologies for putting this email off for so very long. I have been traveling back to the east coast the past few weeks and procrastination got the best of me. It is never a good idea to put off telling someone how great they are and how much I appreciate the hard work, professionalism and absolutely fantastic job you did in closing the deal on my beautiful new home. When we first met I knew there was something magical and special about you. The attention you showered on me from the moment I walked through the door convinced me that having you in my corner was the best choice to achieving my goals. You worked at a feverish pace to satisfy my needs. Your flexibility, creativity, and patience were a perfect blend to my demanding ways and were key in finding this fabulous home. Amy you are the best! I have since referred several of my friends and co-workers to call you when they are ready to take that plunge into home ownership. Continue the great work and wonderful customer support. All the best to you in your future endeavors and I look forward to having you over as a house guest in the near future.
I was a client of Amy’s for two years. Amy has time and project management skills second to none and fantastic personal skills. She has the drive and determination to deliver for her clients in whatever the situation and go above and beyond the call of duty. She is an incredibly talented individual and I recommend her whether you were asking her to do some house-hunting or nuclear fission.
Amy is an outstanding agent. She was detail oriented, motivated, organized and extremely knowledgeable about real estate and the areas I was looking to buy. Every question that I asked, she had a quick, honest answer. As a first time homebuyer, I was terrified of the process. Amy walked me through everything with patience, knowledge and enthusiasm. I gave her about four criteria that I felt my new home would have to meet, and Amy found me a place that met all of them. I can not praise Amy enough.
Not only did I have the opportunity to work with a fabulous real estate agent when I was buying my home, but I got to keep her as a friend after the paperwork was signed and the house keys were handed over to me! Amy is a true professional who took care of me during every step of the home buying journey. She is my real estate agent for life!"
It took me and my husband sixteen months to find our dream home. Amy patiently guided us through the process with a positive and hopeful attitude. She was able to help us see not just the structure on a lot, but what the potential could be. Amy was always available to meet us at properties and was flexible with our busy schedules. As first time buyers, we were filled with lots of emotion. The closing process produced much anxiety and Amy was always available to talk to us and help ease our minds. Amy is a very knowledgeable and experienced professional. If you are buying a home, Amy is the Realtor to choose.
It is has been a great pleasure for me and my wife to work with Amy. Being first time home-buyer , she was very pro-active in showing us the property and sharing her experience and knowledge about home -buying We never felt pressured in buying a property, she always raised her honest opinion or suggestion if she found any issue or concern on the property. We would definitely recommend Amy as Real Estate Agent who would make your home buying experience enjoyable and worthwhile.
I have worked with Amy Cimetta for more than four years, providing financing for her clients in their real estate transactions. In over 20 years as a mortgage originator, I have rarely come across a Realtor with such knowledge, passion, and caring about her business and her clients.
Amy makes my job easier. She keeps the transactions running smoothly with her efficient project management skills, and her ability to keep her clients focused, invested and motivated. Her deals close on time or early with few problems because she adheres to deadlines and anticipates issues, finding solutions before a transaction can be derailed. The end result is an extremely positive client experience which has ultimately led to repeat business for myself and Wells Fargo.
I recommend Amy emphatically. Her clients can always count on her expertise before, during and after the transaction. She is a world class Realtor.
My situation looked dire... then I found Amy! What a lifesaver she turned out to be. I had been haggling with the bank for months. They were putting me threw the ringer with all of their "red tape". It had gotten to the point that I had less than a month before my condo was going to be up for auction and foreclosed on. Amy worked through all of the endless paperwork that the bank poured out and I was able to short sale my condo. I literally received an offer the very same day that she advertised it for me. Anyone who has ever been through a short sale process, knows how horrendous and overwhelming it all can be. She went above and beyond in her efforts. I would literally receive emails from her at like 3am, she even worked while she was supposed to be on vacation!!! Amy is very knowledgeable and treats every property as if it were her own. She is NOT one of those agents that just looks for the quick sale and commission. She takes the time to understand her clients and strives to deliver exactly what they want. I would tell ANYONE who needs an honest, reliable, trustworthy and very smart agent to definitely hire her... THERE IS NO ONE BETTER!
Thank you Ms. Cimetta for all you have done for my family and I. I look forward to working with you in the years to come!
