Dec 2nd: 26th Annual Family Holiday Crafts Night
The Afterschool REC program would like to invite you to attend the 26th Annual Family Holiday Crafts Night and Open House. This event will be a showcase of the Afterschool REC Program. Play, Nature, Exercise, Positive Spaces, Gathering Places, and Forever are the themes of the night. Come and celebrate family fun times, feed off of the positive energy and exercise your mind as you paint or glue. Dec 9th: Manhattan Beach Holiday Fireworks Festival
The Manhattan Beach Holiday Fireworks Festival is held at the Pier every year in December. This year’s Fireworks Festival will take place on December 9, 2012 and will include the following events:
- 4:00 PM – Skechers Snow Park opens
- 4:00 PM – Michael Stars Bounce Park opens
- 4:00 PM – Chamber’s Santa arrives and greets kids
- 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM – Local Bands lead holiday sing-a-long
- 7:00 PM – Fireworks Show choreographed to seasonal music
Bring blankets, beach chairs and coolers to pick a spot for the spectacular show.
The Holiday Fireworks are expected to go forward, rain or shine, on Sunday.

RE/MAX sold almost twice as much as Shorewood who came in at 1,005 sales, and almost five times more than South Bay Brokers who had 410 sales. RE/MAX Execs has the largest network with the most access to buyers, sellers and properties in the South Bay.
Here’s some interesting stats for you (MLS-reported): So far in 2012 the highest sold single family in North Redondo was 2012 Robinson Street fro $1,230,000. It’s a 5 bedroom new construction with 3,300 + sq. feet. 1915 Graham, also new construction, sold for $1,200,000. 2525 Ralston, a 2006 build (4 bedroom with 3,400 sq. feet), sold for $1,140,000.
For 4 bedroom town homes, the top seller new construction is 1914 Graham Ave, #A for $874,000. The rest of the new construction 4 bedroom town homes sold from $840,000-$866,000. A 2005 build at 2417 Marshallfield Lane, #A and a 1993 build at 1922 Havemeyer Lane are the only 4 bedroom town homes to exceed the $800,000 mark so far this year, selling at $835,000 and $812,000 respectively. The rest of the 4 bedrooms sold in the $700,000-$800,000 range with some exceptions in the high $600,000s. The 3 bedroom townhomes are predominantly in the $600,000-$700,000 with a few exceptions above $700,000.
